WHO TO START: BEN ROETHLISBERGER, PITTSBURGH STEELERS

Ben Roethlisberger is the league leader in passing yards with 1,414. His 353.5 average passing yards per game also ranks first. Roethlisberger has stepped up in a big way with the absence of star running back Le’veon Bell. Look for him to dominate at home against a very poor Atlanta Falcons defense who allow 403 total yards, 284 passing yards and 30.5 total points per game.

Without Bell, Roethlisberger has taken it upon himself to carry the offensive workload. With playmakers like Antonio Brown, JuJu Smith-Schuster, and Vance McDonald at his disposal, look for this offense to be clicking on all cylinders in a much-needed win in front of their home crowd. It’s no secret that Roethlisberger is a different quarterback in front of his fans.

WHO TO SIT: RUSSELL WILSON, SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

Russell Wilson has had a rough first quarter of the season. His offensive line has been mediocre, his favorite target in Doug Baldwin was out for the first three games and Wilson just hasn’t lived up to his standard.

In Week 4 against a terrible Arizona Cardinals team, Wilson put up mediocre numbers. The running game was strong for once with Mike Davis rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns. Wilson himself only managed 172 passing yards on 19-of-26 passing. His Week 5 matchup gets much tougher as he faces a Los Angeles Rams defense who rank fifth against the rush, 15th against the pass and nineth overall.
