29. C.J. Beathard (LW: 30)

Beathard is the epitome of a backup quarterback. He kept the 49ers in the game against the Chargers a few weeks ago, and then blew up against the Cardinals. With four touchdowns and a matching number of interceptions, it is what it is for San Francisco this season.

28. Case Keenum (LW: 27)

Keenum might prove to be the worst investment by any team of the past offseason. The veteran has thrown for 1,365 yards but the $36 million over two years has yielded five touchdowns, seven interceptions and a litany of missed receivers. It’s not a pretty sight in Denver.

27. Sam Darnold (LW: 29)

Darnold only went 10-of-22 against the Broncos, but he launched three touchdowns including a couple of gorgeous deep balls to Robby Anderson. The Jets aren’t going to be lighting up scoreboards on a regular basis, but this was a nice showcase for the kid.

26. Jameis Winston (LW: 26)

Winston will get his first start of the year against the Falcons this Sunday. Atlanta is missing a ton of starters on that side of the ball, giving the former No. 1 overall pick a chance to showcase his talents and get some support back on his side.
