No. 8 Bears D/ST vs. Miami

The bye did come at  a bad time for the Bears, or so they say. Typically you don’t want to go on the bye after your second-year quarterback has a breakout performance throwing six touchdowns in a 38-10 win. Typically! But they did.

The Bears come off the bye and get a great matchup this week. Miami. Miami, if you’re unfamiliar, started the season 3-0 and looked poised to make noise in the AFC East. That came crashing down, not completely yet, these past two.

A 38-7 loss to New England was one-upped last week when the Bengals scored 27 unanswered after trailing 17-0 to win 27-17. Debilitating is a word you might use.

Oh and two Bears corners rank in the top five for Pro Football Focus, not bad either.

Who does Miami get? A top team in DVOA with the second, because of the bye, most sacks in the league and rested. That doesn’t sound like a great matchup for Tannehill and the Dolphins believe you me.
