No. 2 Todd Gurley vs. Denver

When is Gurley not a great matchup? The Rams struggled last week against the Seahawks but Gurley was the reason they survived.

Let’s look at Gurley’s numbers for 2018 as a whole and then at the Seahawks game. Sound good? Gurley has 415 yards on 101 carries and seven touchdowns. Through the air? 230 yards on 19 catches and a pair of touchdowns.

Last week’s matchup? 22 carries for 77 yards and three touchdowns. Those three touchdowns proved vital in the 33-31 win to stay undefeated. It was Gurley’s second three touchdown game, after the Arizona one in week two.

Denver’s defense was absolutely lit up last week thanks to Isaiah Crowell. The Broncos were hit square in the jaw in the loss and then they get the Rams offense? Good luck with that one.
