Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts – $5,400

Eric Ebron has been absolutely stellar this season for the Indianapolis Colts. Coming into the 2018 campaign many didn’t think Ebron would have a major role. With fellow tight end Jack Doyle still ailing from injury, Ebron has been the focal point of the offense. T.Y. Hilton spent the last half of Week 4 on the sidelines and missed Week 5 as well.

Looking ahead, Ebron is a safe play. His target share per game is music to high value ears. Ebron has been targeted a total of 45 times and brought in 26 of them. His nine targets per game and 5.2 receptions are good for third and fourth best amongst tight ends, respectively.

In Week 5 in a losing effort to the New England Patriots, Ebron had his best game as a Colt, reeling in nine of 15 targets for 105 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Ebron has taken over the starting tight end role on this team. When Doyle returns it will be interesting to see how both players are utilized.

Through five games played Ebron has amassed 255 total receiving yards and five touchdowns on 26 total receptions, which ranks sixth, first and fourth among tight ends, respectively. In Week 6 Ebron will be going up against the New York Jets’ 19th-ranked defense. We will take a look at the Jets from a defense standpoint thus far.

Through five games played the New York defense has allowed 371.6 total yards, 266.6 passing yards, 105 rushing yards, and 21 total points per game. The Jets are ranked 17th against the pass, which will help a big target like Ebron create space and make huge plays with Andrew Luck under center this Sunday.

Prediction: 85 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
