Winner: Oregon Ducks (No. 17 up to No. 12)

Not many things go together as well as Oregon and overtime wins at home against ranked Pac-12 foes. Just weeks after beating Stanford in Eugene in overtime, the Ducks took Washington to extra time, eventually pulling off the upset of the Np. 7 Huskies.

This game between Oregon and Washington could have arguably been the game of the week and subject of ESPN‘s College GameDay and it would have had more intrigue than Michigan’s blowout win over a struggling Wisconsin team.

The Ducks and Huskies basically matched each score as they mirrored each other in each quarter, scoring-wise, leading to an overtime frame in which Oregon scored a touchdown following Washington’s field goal. CJ Verdell was the hero for the Ducks, scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime and finishing with over 110 yards.

Oregon improves to 5-1 on the season with the victory and it looks like Mario Cristobal’s team is the final hope for the Pac-12 to get a team into the playoff — Colorado lost at USC later on Saturday night to eliminate the Buffs from the ranks of the unbeaten.
