FLEX: Albert Wilson, Miami Dolphins

It took few weeks but the Miami Dolphins are finally getting Albert Wilson more involved in the offense. He exploded this past week against the Chicago Bears and was arguably the difference in the game.

Wilson is a shifty route runner who has the speed to take shorter passes and turn them into big gains. It’s the type of skill set that forces coaches to find ways to get the ball in his hands.

Adam Gase and the Dolphins handed Wilson a sizable contract this offseason and they are just now showing how he can impact their offensive attack. Miami’s offense has struggled to score points this year and shouldn’t hesitate to force the ball to Wilson.

Backup Option: Lamar Miller, Houston Texans

After a one game absence, Lamar Miller returned to the lineup as the Houston Texans lead running back. He dominated the team’s carries last week against the Buffalo Bills. His numbers didn’t jump off the screen but he had a solid day.

In my lineup, Miller serves as a high-upside play that is aimed to save me some salary cap space.
