No. 5 Joe Flacco vs. New Orleans

It’s been an interesting three-game road trip for Joe Flacco and the Ravens. After the loss to the Browns the Ravens bounced back strong in Nashville beating the Titans 21-0. Flacco himself will tell you the last two games haven’t been his best.

Still, the Ravens are 4-2 and have their toughest matchup of the season ahead in New Orleans.

Drew Brees and the Saints are coming off a record-setting night before their bye so they’re raring to go. That’ll be a big test for this Ravens defense and even coming off the shutout over the Titans, I think the weapons for New Orleans are a tad too powerful.

The Saints have the second highest yards/attempt for opposing quarterbacks this season behind division rival Tampa Bay. What are they also just behind Tampa Bay in? Opposing quarterback rating at 115.4. For fun, Tampa Bay sits at 129.5, shoutout to Mitchell Trubisky.

The Ravens control their own destiny moving forward. The win over the Steelers at home was huge as PIttsburgh gets things rolling. After losing to the Bengals on the road, the Bengals lost last week to Pittsburgh bringing the two teams square at the top of the AFC North.

After a pair of NFC South matchups the Ravens get the Steelers and Bengals again so winning one of these two is vital. Do I see the Ravens winning Sunday? No but I do see Joe Flacco slinging it everywhere making him a great matchup this week.
