New Orleans Saints at Baltimore Ravens (-2.5)

This could be the best game of the week. Both the Saints (4-1) and Ravens (4-2) appear capable of going deep in the playoffs. New Orleans is coming off a bye, though, and has the clear advantage at quarterback despite Baltimore’s menacing defense. Give me the Saints in a thriller.

Pick: New Orleans 28, Baltimore 22

Dallas Cowboys at Washington Redskins (-1.5)

If the Redskins (3-2) find a way to win this game, they are going to be leading the NFC East with a soft schedule ahead. Conversely, the Cowboys (3-3) could put themselves squarely in the mix with a divisional win on the road against Alex Smith and Co.

Pick: Washington 24, Dallas 21

Los Angeles Rams (-10) at San Francisco 49ers

Give the 49ers (1-5) credit, they are fighting hard despite having the deck stacked heavily against them. However, the Rams (6-0) are the best team in the league, and this one might be out of hand halfway through the contest.

Pick: Los Angeles 33, San Francisco 25

Cincinnati Bengals at Kansas City Chiefs (-6)

The Chiefs (5-1) are coming off an instant classic –even in defeat — while the Bengals (4-2) are trying to rebound from a soul-crushing loss to the Steelers. This game is simple to pick. Andy Dalton and Marvin Lewis against Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid in primetime… at Arrowhead Stadium.

Pick: Kansas City 37, Cincinnati 24

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons (-6)

The Giants (1-5) were a bunch of gutless quitters on Thursday night. Tough to see them beating the Falcons (2-4), who know that their season in on the line each week from here on out.

Pick: Atlanta 34, New York 22
