High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jayson Tatum (at TOR – $6,400): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. It’s tough to love anyone in this matchup, especially with so many good matchups to take advantage of on Friday. But I’m a big believer in Jayson Tatum and his 40.3 fantasy points against the Sixers spoke volumes. The Raptors present a tougher matchup defensively, but with so many guys to pay attention to on Boston, Tatum can get his. Diagnosis: A risk due to the matchup and Boston being so well rounded, but there’s a lot to love in Tatum’s game.

Derrick Favors (vs GS – $6,100): Needs 25.8 fantasy points. Favors averaged 31.4 fantasy points in four games against the Warriors last season. He seems to raise his game against the Warriors as they are an undersized squad and Favors can get his in the paint and on the glass. Had a strong start to the season and, based on last year, should be able to make an impact against Golden State. Diagnosis: Limited ceiling next to Gobert, but history is on his side.

Domantas Sabonis (at MIL – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Sabonis finished with 32 fantasy points against the Grizzlies on opening night. I love Sabonis’ game as he puts up points and rebounds while also contributing with assists. I also think he’s better than Myles Turner and should continue to play more. The Bucks still have some defensive issues and can have trouble rebounding. Sabonis should get busy on the boards. Diagnosis: Good matchup and showed a lot on opening night, building off a strong second season.
