High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (at POR – $9,100): Needs 38 fantasy points. Aldridge picked up where he left off last season. He continues to be the focal point of the Spurs offense and he’s grabbing double digit boards on a nightly basis. He also loves playing after his former team. He averaged 46.8 fantasy points in three games against the Trail Blazers last season. Diagnosis: A lot working in Aldridge’s favor on Saturday. He’s on a team that allows him to flourish and he’s playing a team he always has something extra for.

Blake Griffin (at CHI – $8,400): Needs 35.1 fantasy points. Griffin can be inconsistent, but he’s also a triple-double threat on any night. He will give you next to nothing on defense, but the offensive numbers should be there. The Bulls are an odd mix and one of the lesser teams in the league. Griffin should be able to dominate in all areas on offense. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy with a high ceiling. Should have no problem going over 40 fantasy points.

Paul Millsap (vs PHO – $7,300): Needs 30.5 fantasy points. Millsap had a solid start to the season, producing 34.2 fantasy points against the Clippers. He didn’t score much, but he was a terror on the board. The rebounding and scoring opportunities should be plenty against the Suns. Millsap has taken a step back in the offense with Nikola Jokic running the show, but we’ve seen him produce big games before. Plus, as good as the Suns looked on opening night, their defense is still a big question mark. There’s no question about the Nuggets offense. Diagnosis: Great matchup on a relatively low salary. Will get his rebounds.
