High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Josh Jackson (at DEN – $5,900): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. Jackson is coming off the bench, but he’s still making an impact for the Suns. This should be an offensive showdown as neither team typically offers much in terms of defense. Jackson is a proven scorer who can chip in with rebounds and assists. In the Suns new system, he stands to benefit more than anyone not named Devin Booker. Coming off the bench helps as Denver has a rather weak second unit. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy with a lot of upside.

Bobby Portis (vs DET – $5,900): Needs 24.6 fantasy points. I still don’t like the Bulls mix of players, but Portis might be the most trustworthy option on the team. He’s getting solid playing time with Lauri Markkanen out and he’s proven to be an impactful player. With Detroit’s size in the paint, Portis should get plenty of playing time on Saturday. He can be inconsistent, but somebody has to score and rebound on the Bulls, Portis is certainly good enough to carry the load on both ends. Diagnosis: High upside on a team that needs something. A matchup that allows him to stay on the floor.

Dario Saric (vs ORL – $5,700): Needs 23.8 fantasy points. Saric bounced back from a rough opening night to produce 29.5 fantasy points against the Bulls. He has another good matchup on Saturday with the Sixers face the Magic. His shot isn’t falling right now, which is a bit troubling, but he’s getting it done on the board and chipping in with assists. Diagnosis: His shot will start to fall at some point. And given the matchup on Saturday, there’s a good chance it’ll happen against Orlando.
