Wolfsburg face Bayern Munich at Volkswagen Arena on Saturday, Oct. 20. Here’s all the info you need to watch online.

The Bundesliga season resumes following the international break with Bayern Munich in an unfamiliar position. Bayern are sixth, following two straight losses and a draw in their last three games. The recent losing streak has put manager Niko Kovac on the hot seat. On Saturday, Bayern play Wolfsburg at Volkswagen Arena. The Wolves are ninth, four points behind Bayern.

Wolfsburg are also going through a rough stretch. After picking up seven points in their first three games, the Wolves have picked up only two points in their last four games. Wout Weghorst has played well for Wolfsburg since joining the club in the summer from AZ Alkmaar. The towering Dutch striker has scored twice for Wolfsburg this season.

Kovac has made several changes to Bayern since taking over for Jupp Heynckes. Under Heynckes, Bayern often used a 4-2-3-1 formation. However, Kovac has used a 4-3-3 and 4-1-4-1 formation. While the formation allows Bayern to get all of their attacking players on the field, it has left them exposed in the midfield defensively. Kovac has tried using Thiago as a defensive midfielder, with little success. Thiago is best deployed playing behind the strikers where he can use his passing ability to create chances. Playing further back exposes Thiago’s poor tackling skills.

Kovac will have to find a solution to Bayern’s struggles. Another loss could force the club to make another midseason managerial change and potentially try luring Heynckes out of retirement again.

Bayern have won five of the last six games against Wolfsburg, settling for a draw in one of the two games last season. Wolfsburg’s last win against Bayern came on Jan. 30, 2015, when Bas Dost and Kevin De Bruyne both scored twice.
