High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Steph Curry (at DEN – $9,800):Needs 41.5 fantasy points. Curry barely missed going over 50 fantasy points on Oct. 19 against the Jazz. Still, he’s off to a great start and looks better than ever. Think about that. This game has all the making of being a shootout and that’s good news for DFS players. Curry is the most lethal player on the court when he gets going. And he has it going right now. Diagnosis: Getting it done in all categories and has a very high ceiling when he gets it going. A great matchup as well.

Russell Westbrook (vs SAC – $12,500):Needs 53 fantasy points. Chris Paul would be in this spot, but I have a feeling he’s going to get suspended. If he’s not, grab him over Westbrook, who may not even play. If Westbrook does play, he’ll obviously get his numbers in all categories. I do worry that he’ll be rusty coming off the knee injury and not participating in training camp or preseason. But it’s always foolish to doubt Westbrook, who has broken DFS more than once in the past couple of seasons. Diagnosis: The salary is too high for my liking, especially coming back from a knee injury.

De’Aaron Fox (at OKC – $6,600):Needs 28 fantasy points. Fox is off to a good start this season, going over 30 fantasy points in both games. He’s under the salary limit, but with Russell Westbrook still listed as out, he’s the top option. Even if Westbrook plays, I have my doubts about him (given the salary) coming off the injury. I don’t have many doubts about Fox, who is playing well now and has played well against the Thunder in the past. If Westbrook doesn’t play, his job will become easier as Westbrook can be a defensive pest when he wants to be. Diagnosis: Good matchup and puts up numbers in all categories.
