Running Backs: Todd Gurley, Los Angeles Rams- $10,200 & Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas Cowboys- $8,400

For two straight weeks, Gurley is in my lineup and he is worth every single penny. The Los Angeles Rams leaned on the running back to help defeat the Denver Broncos 23-20, and improve to 6-0.

Gurley carried the ball a season-high 28 times, for 208 yards and two touchdowns. He finished the afternoon with 35.5 fantasy points, most at the position, second most out of all players in Week 6. Gurley has scored 30+ fantasy points in consecutive games and three total times this season.

The fourth-year back leads the league with 623 rushing yards and nine scores. Since Week 13 of 2017, Gurley has scored in nine straight regular season games.

This week, he takes on the 1-5 San Francisco 49ers. Gurley is averaging 90 yards per game against the NFC West side. In his last game against them, he rushed for 113 yards and two scores. He also caught five passes for 36 yards and a score.

It’s safe to say, Gurley has been the most consistent fantasy running back this season and his success will continue in Week 7.

Another running back that is dominating the league is Elliot. He is second in the NFL with 586 yards and trails Gurley by just 38 yards for most in the league. Last week, Elliot carried the ball 24 times for 106 yards and one touchdown.

Elliot has rushed for 100+ yards in three of his last four games and is averaging five yards per carry. The Dallas running back only has four total touchdowns and that’s why his fantasy numbers aren’t higher.

The Cowboys travel to Washington to take on the Redskins in Week 7 and Elliot has dominated against them. In three games, Elliot is averaging 110 rushing yards and nearly two touchdowns per game. Despite Washington’s success this year against the run, Elliot will continue to dominate their NFC East counterpart.
