High Value SF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Jae Crowder (vs MEM – $5,200): Needs 21.4 fantasy points. The good news for Crowder is that he continues to play big minutes in Utah. He was great since coming over from Cleveland last season and he’s such a diverse player that he’s able to play in multiple lineups alongside different players. Diagnosis: Gets big minutes on a good team, which is always a good thing for DFS fans. Can do a little bit of everything as well.

Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (at TOR – $5,000): Needs 20.5 fantasy points. I have a hard time trusting MKG because he’s not a big scorer, but he’s been getting it done this season. In three games, he’s averaging 29.2 fantasy points. A lot of that has been with defense, but that’s never been an issue for him. As long as he continues to rebound and find ways to contribute, he’s a worthwhile addition. Diagnosis: Relatively low cost and with defense counting for more in FanDuel, he’s a solid addition. But be wary.

Lance Stephenson (vs SA – $4,800): Needs 19.7 fantasy points. It’s Lance Stephenson, so it’s tough to fully trust him, but this is a big opportunity for Lance. First off, he played well against the Rockets. Not that Lance lacks confidence, but now the coaches will have more confidence in him. More importantly, with Rondo and Ingram out, the Lakers need an erratic playmaker and small forward. Yes, that’s Lance Stephenson’s music. Diagnosis: Suspensions work to his benefit. He’s a risk, but we’ve seen Lance step up before.
