High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (at LAL – $8,800): Needs 37.3 fantasy points. Aldridge had a rough time against his former team, but don’t be down on him yet. He’s still the top option on the Spurs and the Lakers most certainly are not the Blazers. The Lakers have a distinct lack of size and they certainly don’t have anyone who can guard Aldridge in the post. Trust that his shot will be back on Monday. Even if it’s not, he’ll provide enough rebounds to have a strong game. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy who is better than he showed in his last game. He’ll bounce back.

Bobby Portis (at DAL – $7,100): Needs 30.1 fantasy points. Portis continues to play well to start the season. He didn’t score against the Pistons, but he made up with it with his rebounding and assists. I continue to love Portis with Lauri Markkanen out of the lineup. Against the Mavericks, there’s plenty to like about Portis’ game. Diagnosis: He’ll get his rebounds and he should score more than he did against Detroit.

Jayson Tatum (vs ORL – $7,000): Needs 29.6 fantasy points. Jayson Tatum is the best player on the Celtics right now. He’s averaging 38 fantasy points in three games this season. He’s not only scoring at a high level, but he’s grabbing plenty of rebounds as well. Against the Magic, he should have no issue getting his points and rebounds. Diagnosis: Great matchup for a guy who has dominated early in the season.
