High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Serge Ibaka (vs CHA – $5,500): Needs 23.3 fantasy points. Longtime readers know the deal with Ibaka. When he’s hot, he’s red hot. And he’s red hot right now. He’s been over 30 fantasy points in all three games this season. Whether he’s starting or coming off the bench, he’s getting it done when he’s on the court. The scoring numbers won’t always be there, but the rebounding numbers are good and he typically comes up with a defensive play or two. Diagnosis: Keep riding his hot hand until he cools off.

Markieff Morris (at POR – $5,000): Needs 21.2 fantasy points. The Wizards are a mess in more ways than one, but Morris is putting up good numbers through two games. If Dwight Howard is available to play, that might hurt Morris’ numbers, but as long as Howard is out, Morris will continue to get big minutes. He does a bit of everything and we know he’ll take his shots. Diagnosis: A player who just finds a way to make an impact and has big-game ability.

Marcus Morris (vs ORL – $4,900): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. Much like his brother, Morris is a guy who is going to take his shots and who can contribute in multiple ways. This game might get out of hand quickly which could mean more minutes for Morris. He’s much better at home than on the road. Diagnosis: A good set of circumstances for Morris.
