High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Markelle Fultz (at DET – $5,900): Needs 24.7 fantasy points. Fultz has been a fine DFS player thus far this season. It helps that he’s starting and playing alongside some great players. If Ben Simmons ends up missing this game, Fultz will have a bigger opportunity to step up in the offense. Can he do it? I’m honestly unsure, but if he can, this is a good salary to get him at. Diagnosis: Even if Simmons plays, he appears to be semi-reliable. Could have a big night if circumstances line up for him.

Lou Williams (at NO – $5,500): Needs 23 fantasy points. Williams is off to a slow start, averaging just 22.5 fantasy points in three games this season. His minutes are down and the Clippers are playing a more well-rounded game than allowing Williams to take over. It’s been a headache for DFS fans, but we know Lou can go off on any night. The Pelicans defense is still suspect. Diagnosis: A risk based on what he’s shown this season. But the matchup is solid and he’ll explode at some point.

JJ Redick (at DET – $5,300): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Redick found his form against the Magic, pouring in 44.8 fantasy points. Shot are never an issue for Redick, it was just a matter of them going down. They went down for him on Oct. 20. I always love Redick because he’s typically going to get you value and if he gets hot like he did the other night, he can have big games. The cold start to the season was just that. Trust that he’s back to form. Diagnosis: Typically a reliable option with plenty of upside. Had some big games against the Pistons last season.
