Dave Brown Division

29. C.J. Beathard (LW: 29)

The 49ers have to be content with Beathard as their backup quarterback, but he’s not going to make anybody forget about Jimmy Garoppolo. The former Iowa standout has seven interceptions in only four starts.

28. Josh Rosen (LW: 28)

Rosen was just getting pounded over and over again buy the Broncos while his coaching staff allowed it to happen. That said, he’s got to be a bit better even when he has time. The numbers aren’t being helped by his supporting cast, but a 55 percent completion rate with 6.36 yards per attempt isn’t doing it.

27. Case Keenum (LW: 27)

Keenum simply hasn’t been for the Broncos what he was in Minnesota. Denver is 3-4 and trying to stay in the AFC playoff picture, but the veteran journeyman hasn’t done much to help the cause with eight touchdowns against nine interceptions. This week, he tries his hand for the second time against the Chiefs.

26. Sam Darnold (LW: 25)

Darnold has struggled for much of the last month — unless he’s playing the Colts. The rookie was abysmal against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, hitting on 17-of-42 attempts for 206 yards with a touchdown and three interceptions. Nobody is expecting immediate greatness, but he’s got to be better than that.
