FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 24, 2018
High Value SG
Players costing $6,667 or under
Josh Hart (at PHO – $6,400): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Hart is off to a strong start and with Brandon Ingram and Rajon Rondo out of the lineup, Hart has had to step up even more. The Lakers offense hasn’t been a problem and the Suns are still the Suns. Hart won’t get much in the way of assists, but he’ll score, grab some rebounds, and come up with a defensive play or two. Diagnosis: Suns are always a great matchup and Hart’s scoring is needed once again.
Wesley Matthews (at ATL – $5,400): Needs 22.6 fantasy points. I’ve been banging on Matthews all season with Harrison Barnes out of the lineup and I’ll continue to do it. He’s coming off a 33.4 fantasy point performance against the Bulls on Oct. 22. The Hawks are a great matchup and Matthews is a proven shooter in the league. And he’s getting some great looks right now. Diagnosis: Still a strong value player thanks to injuries, Doncic, and the matchup.
Dwyane Wade (vs NY – $5,300): Needs 22.1 fantasy points. Wade has been thriving off the bench thus far and there’s no reason to think he’ll slow down. He always has a little something extra in New York and I expect Wednesday to be no different. The fact that he can take advantage of second units works to his benefit. Diagnosis: Reliable option with big game potential and a great matchup.
