4. Derek Carr

If you still think Gruden believes Carr is this team’s quarterback of the future then you simply haven’t been paying attention. The head coach’s frustration with his signal caller is obvious on the sideline. That, combined with Carr’s large cap hit means the Raiders would love to move him as soon as possible.

This is another situation where Oakland would need to give the player away to get anything meaningful in return. There just aren’t many teams out there with worse options at quarterback than Carr. He’s got the talent to help a few teams, but those specific franchises would struggle to pay him the contract he’s currently on.

Even so, one injury at the game’s most important position could change everything. If a big name quarterback on a potential Super Bowl contender goes down they could elect to roll the dice on Carr. Remember, any team that has him on their books can get rid of him pretty easily after this season.

The most likely outcome here is that Carr will simply be cut by the Raiders this offseason. A trade isn’t impossible though. Gruden and company would certainly love to get something of value in exchange for Carr before they draft his replacement in April.
