David Njoku, Cleveland Browns, $5,700

Stats: 297 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns

David Njoku has an amazing matchup against the Pittsburgh Steelers in Week 8. The Steelers 27th-ranked defense against the pass is a perfect high-value play for Njoku who is coming off back to back touchdown games. Baker Mayfield is playing like any smart rookie signal caller would. He is using his big tight end as a safety valve.

Njoku receives seven targets a game with Mayfield under center. In Week 8 they get to play a secondary that can be exploited. The Steelers and Browns met in Week 1 and the game ended in a tie and although was in a rain storm, you should still use some of that tape going forward for this matchup. Njoku didn’t have a productive day against the Steelers but he still saw seven targets.

It’s pretty safe to say that this contest won’t have adverse weather effects dictating game flow and fantasy production. Njoku is trending up as a high value play and should be used every week going forward. At his current price tag you shouldn’t hesitate at the opportunity to employ a great lineup this weekend. Especially when Njoku has been highly useful boasting no less that 50 receiving yards the past four games.

If you want to win some money this week, exploit the potential of this matchup. Pittsburgh will want to come out strong at home. Mayfield has a point to prove and will use Njoku every chance he gets. The Steelers do allow a hefty 380 yards per game. Njoku is second only to Jarvis Landry in receiving yards and receptions on the Browns this season. Take the low cost and high value he offers in Week 8.

Prediction: 75 receiving yards, 2 touchdowns
