Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs (-10)

The Chiefs (6-1) have a generational offense and the defense has been solid at Arrowhead. If the Broncos (3-4) are going to win, they need to force turnovers and hold firm in the red zone. It’s an awfully big ask in Kansas City, where Patrick Mahomes and Co. will be flying high.

Pick: Kansas City 34, Denver 20

New York Jets at Chicago Bears (-7)

If Chicago (4-3) doesn’t win this game, it’s time to pull the proverbial plug on any notion that it’s a playoff team. New York (3-4) has fought hard in each contest this year, but the talent isn’t there and Sam Darnold, predictably, is quite inconsistent. The Bears defense should feast.

Pick: Chicago 25, New York 16

Seattle Seahawks at Detroit Lions (-3)

Interesting game here. The Lions (3-3) find themselves within the mix of the NFC North race, while the Seahawks (3-3) are coming off their bye week with a two-game winning streak. Whoever wins will be in the thick of the playoff picture, with the loser having serious concerns.

Pick: Detroit 27, Seattle 23

Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Cincinnati Bengals (-4.5)

The Bengals (4-3) have to win this game, flat out. Tampa Bay (3-3) has a quarterback who turns the ball over like it’s his job, the defense stinks and the Buccaneers are on the road. Cincinnati needs to pull it together and grab a victory.

Pick: Cincinnati 33, Tampa Bay 30

Washington Redskins (-1) at New York Giants

Have you seen the Giants (1-6)? Good Lord, take the Redskins (4-2).

Pick: Washington 24, New York 21
