Philadelphia Eagles (-3) @ Jacksonville Jaguars

Coming into this season, this was a game every great football fan marked on their calendar. This was two of the final four teams facing off against each other. It should be the marque matchup automatically on this week’s NFL slate, right? Well, not so much.

This game, which is being played in London, shows two teams in major flux. The Jaguars cannot win a game, and Blake Bortles is coming off a benching. The Eagles can’t win games late, and blew a 17-0 lead against the Carolina Panthers.

These two teams need a win terribly. It could save their season. Honestly, if you’re not betting every single game, you should stay away from this game. Both teams make no sense all season long. However, if you have to pick a team, I would go with the Eagles. They’ve at least kept it close.

New York Jets @ Chicago Bears (-6)

The Chicago Bears were one yard away from a tie game with the New England Patriots with no time on the clock. If Kevin White could just sneak into the end zone, things could look a whole lot different. But, that’s not how it worked out. The Bears are now 3-3, and find themselves in a spot where a win is necessary. Khalil Mack is one week healthier, and Mitch Trubisky is starting to learn his strengths. Mostly that he should run more than he throws.

The New York Jets, on the other hand, have to pick receivers off the street just to have enough to put out a lineup. Rishard Matthews will join the Jets this week, to give Sam Darnold some kind of weapon. The injuries are piling up.

The Jets seem to play really well against average teams. Are the Bears an average team, or are they above average? This game is the perfect time to prove one way or another. Go with the Bears, even if this spread is a point too high.
