Welcome readers of FantasyCPR, in this piece we are going to take a deep look approach at who to roster tonight in tournaments that will help you win all the money. These plays are the plays, barring injury news, that I’m going to be building my tournament lineups around tonight.

If you would like to join DraftKings and use my plays, you can do so here.

Let’s dive into tonights core plays:

Core Plays:

Reggie Jackson, DET ($5,700) – Reggie Jackson is not a play that anyone likes to play due to the amount of time that he splits with Ish Smith. However, that has not been the case this season. In each of the games this season, he’s seen at least 28 minutes in each of the three games so far this season and has seen 35-plus minutes in two of the three games. Jackson is getting the run and is producing in the run he has been given, hovering around 30 fantasy points in ever game so far this season.  Tonight, Jackson draws a matchup with Cleveland that has allowed the 5th most fantasy points to opposing point guards this season. Jackson is an excellent play in both cash games and tournaments tonight as I believe he is underpriced.

C.J. McCollum, POR ($6,100) – This is a play that is going to get some traction as the day goes on, but why would we not be playing C.J. McCollum tonight? McCollum has had a rough time shooting the ball so far this season, but that’s really the only thing going against him tonight. McCollum has shot 20-57 (35%) so far to start the season. So unless you believe McCollum, who is a 45% career shooter from the field, has forgotten how to shoot, then we should see some positive regression coming for McCollum tonight. DraftKings has done us a favor in dropping McCollum’s price $1,000 since the start of the season, so his poor shooting is baked into his price.

Larry Nance, LAL ($4,400) – This is not going to be a sneaky play at all, but he is going to be a core play for me tonight. Kevin Love has been ruled out, Cleveland front court is completely depleted and Nance is going to likely see around 30-plus minutes tonight if he can stay out of foul trouble. The matchup is a little dangerous tonight because it’s going to be hard to believe that Cleveland is going to be able to keep this game close without Love but Nance should be able to see blow out minutes as well. Fire Nance up in tournaments and cash games tonight.

Andre Drummond, DET ($9,000) – Drummond is my favorite play on the entire slate tonight. He gets a matchup against a Cleveland team that is going to struggle shooting and struggling getting rebounds. Drummond has 20-points, 20-rebound upside in this matchup today and I want to take him in all my lineups tonight. Drummond is a lock and load tonight, only way he’s not going to exceed value is if he gets into foul trouble which nobody he’s going to be guarding is going to be pounding the post tonight. I have zero worry about Drummond tonight as he is the best play on the slate for me today.

Best of luck tonight guys! Lets get some green!
