Running Backs: Kareem Hunt, Kansas City Chiefs- $8,100 & James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers- $8,000

The Kansas City Chiefs dismantled the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 6, and Hunt played a huge role in the victory. Hunt carried the ball 15 times for 86 yards and one score. He also caught five passes for 55 yards and two scores.

Hunt finished the afternoon with 34.6 fantasy points, most in the league for Week 6. For the third consecutive week, Hunt has rushed for 80+ yards. In back-to-back weeks he has 140+ total yards. The second-year back has scored in every single game, except Week 1.

This week the Hunt and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the Denver Broncos for the second time this season. In their first meeting, he rushed for 121 yards and caught three passes for 54 yards.

Opposing running backs are averaging 5.5 yards per carry against the Denver Broncos. They have given up 951 yards, second most in the league.

Denver has allowed backs to rush for 100+ yards in three consecutive games. In their last two, they have surrendered over 200+ yards, including 318 to the New York Jets in Week 5.

There is no slowing down the Chiefs’ offense and Hunt will have another successful game against the Broncos.

Another running back who is playing a team for the second time this season is Conner.

In his first meeting against the Cleveland Browns, he rushed for 135 yards and two scores. Conner also caught five passes for 57 yards.

Connor has eclipsed the 100+ yard mark and two scores in consecutive games. In those contests, he has carried the ball 40 times for 221 yards and four scores.He currently has 453 yards, seventh most in the NFL and five carries over 20 yards, tied for third in the league.

Through seven games, Cleveland has allowed four teams to rush for over 100 yards. The Baltimore Ravens fell seven yards short from being the fifth team. Cleveland has given up 784 yards to backs, fifth most in the league.

Running backs have scored 171.5 fantasy points against the Browns, ninth most in the NFL. Conner put on a clinic in Week 1 and will replicate it in Week 8.
