Players costing over $6,667

Ben Simmons (vs CHA – $9,700): Needs 41 fantasy points. No Joel Embiid means more Ben Simmons. Even if Embiid plays, Simmons has looked nearly unstoppable with his ability to put up numbers in all categories. The Hornets are on a back-to-back and the Sixers should play with a little extra fire given how their last couple of games have gone. Diagnosis: Reliable to at least hit value and he’s been well over those numbers this year.

Mike Conley (vs PHO – $7,800): Needs 33 fantasy points. Conley is coming off back-to-back 40-plus fantasy point games. The Grizzlies are happy to have him back in the lineup and he’s producing with solid numbers in all categories. The Suns are still the Suns and should always be taken advantage of. Diagnosis: Great matchup for a guy who is looking healthier with each passing game.

Trae Young (vs CHI – $7,600): Needs 32.1 fantasy points. It’s a high salary for Trae Young and it might be too high for some people. But it’s not like the Bulls defense has been anything good and they are on a back-to-back. Rookies can be untrustworthy, but we’ve seen more than glimpses of what makes Young so special. Diagnosis: Great matchup and people might stay away due to the salary. But I love his ceiling.
