High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Rajon Rondo (at SA – $5,900): Needs 24.9 fantasy points. Admittedly, I don’t know where Rondo fits in now that he’s back from suspension. He could regain his starting spot or he might come off the bench. But the salary is decent and he was delivering from a numbers perspective prior to the suspension. Proceed with caution simply due to the unknown of his minutes and place in the rotation. Diagnosis: Could be a big steal or big bust. Not sure there is an in-between.

Cameron Payne (at ATL – $5,600): Needs 23.7 fantasy points. Payne has looked good in his last two games, and three out of his last four as the starter. The Bulls are on a back-to-back, but the Hawks don’t offer much defensive resistance. I expect Payne to continue to get it done with his scoring. Diagnosis: Like the matchup and Payne’s role in the offense as the starter.

Bryn Forbes (vs LAL – $4,400): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. Forbes had 23.1 fantasy points against the Lakers on Oct. 22. He’s playing big minutes as the Spurs starter and doing just fine. He hasn’t shown a high ceiling, but he’s also not going to hurt you and seems reliable for at least 20 fantasy points. On a big night of action, reliability never hurts. Diagnosis: Reliable option who gets enough minutes to possibly have a breakout game.
