High Value SG

Players costing $6,667 or under

JJ Redick (vs CHA – $5,500): Needs 22.8 fantasy points. Always one of my favorite plays on the night. Redick is rarely going to kill you and he always has the potential to have a big game. If Joel Embiid is out, Redick will get even more shots as they’ll need to replace the offense somewhere. And Redick is instant offense off the bench with his shooting. Diagnosis: Reliable player who can get hot in a hurry. Good matchup as well.

Rodney McGruder (vs POR – $5,200): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. McGruder has been great this season, averaging 33.6 fantasy points in three games. He’s doing a bit of everything for the Heat right now, which is a great sign for his value moving forward. Portland can make things tough, but the salary on McGruder is good, as is the way he’s playing. Diagnosis: Hot start and a good salary to take advantage of.

Jordan Clarkson (vs IND – $4,800): Needs 19.9 fantasy points. Clarkson hasn’t had huge games, but it’s not for a lack of trying. Clarkson is going to put up shots and with the way Cleveland is looking right now, they need offense from somewhere. I don’t know what Cleveland is doing on offense, but I know Clarkson will keep shooting. Diagnosis: Low salary option who is going to continue to look for his own numbers.
