DraftKings daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 28, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,250 or under
Harrison Barnes (vs UTA – $5,600): Needs 25.9 fantasy points. Barnes made his season debut on Oct. 26, finishing with 28 fantasy points in 28 minutes. If Smith Jr. doesn’t play, Barnes should see more offensive opportunities. He’s already cut into Matthews’ value and he’s a better player than Matthews so he’ll continue to be more of the focal point in the Mavericks offense. Diagnosis: Tough matchup, but a good salary given how he’s used in the offense and his talent.
Jae Crowder (at DAL – $5,000): Needs 23.1 fantasy points. The Jazz are on a back-to-back, but this is a good matchup and Crowder typically gets big minutes. Saturday was a slight exception as the Jazz didn’t need him much. He should play a bigger role on Sunday with the Mavericks ability to play smaller with Harrison Barnes at the four. Diagnosis: Typically reliable. Trust he’ll bounce back in a game that’s hopefully more competitive.
Josh Jackson (at OKC – $4,800): Needs 22.2 fantasy points. Jackson saw an uptick in usage and minutes, but still finished with just 18.25 fantasy points against the Grizzlies. But this is a matchup he faired very well against last year as the Thunder don’t defend the three-point line very well. Diagnosis: He’ll get shots and I have no faith in the Thunder defense against three-point shooters. Even less faith than the Suns offense.
