FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 28, 2018
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Steph Curry (at BKN – $10,000): Needs 42.3 fantasy points. Curry will once again cost plenty and he finally had a down game against the Knicks, finishing with just 36.8 fantasy points. The scoring is there and will never be an issue for Curry, especially against the Nets. But his assist numbers have been down the last two games and that is a bit concerning. Diagnosis: As long as his assist numbers tick up, he’ll be a valuable player. But you’re committing a lot to a guy who might be involved in a blowout.
John Wall (at LAC – $9,500): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Wall had 56.4 fantasy points against the Kings on Oct. 26. The Wizards are a wreck, but everything still runs through Wall and he’s typically reliable to get points and assists. When he’s locked in defensively, that’s even better. I trust Wall to put up numbers in all categories, even if I don’t trust the Wizards. Diagnosis: Should be in for another strong outing given the matchup. But he’s a risk with how the Wizards are in-fighting right now.
D’Angelo Russell (vs GS – $6,900): Needs 29.2 fantasy points. Aside from opening night, Russell has been around 30 fantasy points or better in each passing game. The scoring is there and he’s doing enough with assists and rebounds to boost his value. The Warriors are a tough matchup, but he’ll do enough to at least hit value. Diagnosis: Reliable option if nothing else.
