High Value SF

Players costing $6,250 or under

Rudy Gay (vs DAL – $5,700): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. Gay was moved to the bench against the Lakers and it worked out in his favor as he had 43.5 fantasy points on Oct. 27. If he’s the leader of the bench unit moving forward, that’s going to be huge for his value as he can still score and rebound at a high level. And with the way the Spurs are moving the ball, he’ll continue to rack up assists. Diagnosis: Love him coming off the bench, love the matchup, and love the way the Spurs offense is humming.

Nemanja Bjelica (at MIA – $5,300): Needs 24.3 fantasy points. Bjelica is coming off a 53.5 fantasy point performance against the Wizards. With Bogdanovic out, he’s about the only real small forward on the team and he’s been crushing it for the Kings. We saw how good he can be last year when given a chance in Minnesota and he’s picking up where he left off this year. He should continue to contribute at a high-level. Diagnosis: He’s on a roll and shows no signs of slowing up.

Damyean Dotson (vs BKN – $4,800): Needs 21.7 fantasy points. Dotson had 23.25 fantasy points in his first start of the season against the Warriors. Keep in mind it was against the Warriors and don’t take his underperformance as a bad sign. Expect him to be much better against the Nets, who are not as good as the Warriors and on a back-to-back. Diagnosis: He’s been good this year and this is a favorable matchup.

Quick Hits

Evan Turner ($4,100): Playing well, getting minutes, low salary.
