High Value PF

Players costing $6,667 or under

Kelly Olynyk (vs SAC – $6,400): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Olynyk has been very good in the last two games where he’s drawn the start. Prior to that, he was disappointing, but the starting role has done him well. The Kings are obviously a great matchup for anyone. Olynyk does a bit of everything, which helps his value. Diagnosis: Good matchup as long as he’s starting. If he’s coming off the bench, be wary.

Noah Vonleh (vs BKN – $4,400): Needs 18.6 fantasy points. Vonleh drew the start against the Warriors and posted 27 fantasy points. That may have been a case of “can’t play Kanter” against the Warriors. Check the starting lineup before making any decisions. But even if he’s coming off the bench, he’s been playing well in the minutes he’s been given. He’ll put up solid numbers given the matchup and his salary. Diagnosis: A better play if he starts, still a reliable play off the bench.

Ersan Ilyasova (vs TOR – $4,100): Needs 17.4 fantasy points. Ilyasova hasn’t even shot well, but he’s done well in DFS leagues thanks to his rebounding and passing. If he can start hitting from deep, he’s going to be an even better option. In these games between top teams, a role player always steps up in a big way. I’m pegging Ilyasova as that guy. Diagnosis: Low-cost option who has the skills to have a big game while everyone focuses on the top guys.

Quick Hits

Serge Ibaka ($5,200): Reliable and should get minutes with Milwaukee’s length and athleticism.
