13. Step Brothers

Step Brothers is probably one of my all-time favorite comedies, so I had to include it on the list. It tells the story of two step brothers (duh) who are both grown adults living like children. When their parents threaten to throw them out of the house, they are forced to learn to grow up whether they like it or not.

Rogen only has a cameo, as an interviewer that almost hires the brothers (who attend said interview together in tuxes) but alas… one of them farts. I could not make this up. The scene (and the montage with the other failed interviews) is often credited as one of the funnier bits of the flick.

The film made a whopping $128.1 million in the box office… not too shabby.

14. The Disaster Artist

This film is pretty weird, not gonna lie. If you haven’t seen it, let me try to break it down the plot in the easiest words possible: It’s based on Greg Sestero and Tom Bissell’s 2013 book of the same name and follows the unlikely friendship between would-be actors Tommy Wiseau and Sestero, which results in the production of Wiseau’s 2003 film The Room, widely considered one of the worst films ever made.

Rogen plays Sandy Schklair, the script supervisor who soon becomes the director (by default) as the production begins to fall apart.

The film is a cult movie for sure, those who know it, love it. The film even earned a nomination for Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars. It earned $29.8 million in the box office. Rogen not only appeared in the move but he produced it proving once again he’s not just a one-trick pony.
