FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – October 31, 2018
High Salary SG
Players costing over $6,667
DeMar DeRozan (at PHO – $9,700): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. DeRozan is doing whatever he wants right now. He’s been over 60 fantasy points in three of his last four games, getting it done with scoring, passing, and every in-between. Now, he gets to face the Suns. DeRozan is not only the hottest player on Wednesday, but he has one of the best matchups. Diagnosis: Love everything about DeRozan in this one. From his current play to the matchup.
Donovan Mitchell (at MIN – $8,200): Needs 34 fantasy points. Mitchell has been inconsistent this season, but the Timberwolves defense is abysmal and Mitchell is the best scoring option on the Jazz. His salary is low enough to where he can make a big impact given the matchup. He’ll torch the Timberwolves defense for a big scoring night. Diagnosis: Good matchup for a guy with a high ceiling. He’ll feast.
Luka Doncic (at LAL – $8,000): Needs 33.1 fantasy points. Doncic is coming off his best performance as a rookie, posting 46.6 fantasy points against the Spurs on Oct. 29. The Lakers defense is just as bad as the Spurs, which is why I love Doncic on Wednesday. He’ll get his points and he chips in with rebounds and assists. This one should be a high scoring affair and Doncic will play a big role. Diagnosis: Rookies are inconsistent, but Doncic has been solid and the matchup is great.
