LeBron James (vs DAL – $12,400): Needs 51.4 fantasy points. James has been over 55 fantasy points in three straight. And he’s angry. LeBron is shouldering a lot of the load in LA and that’s likely to continue. The Mavericks don’t offer much defense and given that LeBron is sick of losing, I’m expecting him to come out on fire in this one. Diagnosis: It’s LeBron. It’s not only LeBron, but it’s also angry LeBron. I expect a monster game from him against the Mavericks.

Kevin Durant (vs NO – $10,800): Needs 44.7 fantasy points. Durant had just 35.6 fantasy points as it was the Splash Brothers show against the Bulls. Durant is a matchup problem for the Lakers as proven in the playoffs. He’s been the first or second option all season and he should settle back into that role after Thompson’s big night. Diagnosis: Good matchup and he’s been strong all season.

Rudy Gay (at PHO – $7,000): Needs 29 fantasy points. Gay has been outstanding in the last two games, going over 40 fantasy points in both contests. His salary has jumped, but it’s not high enough given the matchup on Wednesday. The Spurs should run all over the Suns and Gay should do plenty of scoring and rebounding. Diagnosis: Great matchup and he’s hot right now. Always pound the Suns.
