Players costing $6,667 or under

Joe Ingles (at MIN – $6,100): Needs 25.3 fantasy points. Ingles has been inconsistent this season, but he’s going to get his shots and I would expect him to get some great looks against the poor Timberwolves defense. Even if his shot isn’t always falling, he can still contribute with rebounds. Diagnosis: Love the matchup because the Timberwolves don’t play defense and the Jazz run a beautiful offense.

Harrison Barnes (at LAL – $5,900): Needs 24.4 fantasy points. Barnes has been up-and-down since returning to the lineup as he settles into the lineup and his role. He’s a scorer and the Lakers give up a lot of points. It’s easy to put two and two together in this one. Barnes should get buckets. Diagnosis: The salary is a bit high, but the matchup is good and Barnes does a bit of everything.

Stanley Johnson (at BKN – $4,300): Needs 17.8 fantasy points. Johnson didn’t play in the earlier meeting between these two teams. He averaged 35.3 fantasy points in two games as the starter against the Nets last season. He’s been inconsistent this season, but this is a favorable matchup. Diagnosis: If nothing else, he’ll be reliable for value. It’s a good matchup for him to get points.
