FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 1, 2018
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Robert Covington (vs LAC – $6,500): Needs 27.1 fantasy points. Covington has been over 30 fantasy points in his last three games. He’s stepped up on defense, which helps his FanDuel value. As long as Dario Saric continues to struggle, Covington will need to keep stepping up. Diagnosis: Matchup is iffy, but he’s playing well and making the right plays for the Sixers. Slight risk overall.
Danilo Gallinari (at PHI – $6,400): Needs 26.7 fantasy points. Gallinari continues to be a reliable option and is coming off a 35.6 fantasy point performance against the Thunder. He’s getting his points with relative ease and is doing enough in other categories to boost his value. Diagnosis: Reliable option with about the same ceiling as Covington. I prefer him to Covington.
Sam Dekker (vs DEN – $4,500): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. With Kevin Love out, Dekker is getting more of an opportunity to prove himself. He had 37.8 fantasy points against the Hawks on Oct. 30. Granted, it was against the Hawks. Still, Dekker is one of the young players who should continue to get good minutes and usage. Diagnosis: Reliable at this salary given how the Cavaliers are proceeding with this season.
