High Value PG

Players costing $6,667 or under

Dennis Smith Jr. (vs NY – $6,500): Needs 27.2 fantasy points. Never forget about the Knicks passing on Smith Jr. to take Frankie Smokes. DSJ certainly hasn’t. He was brutal against the Lakers, which was a good matchup, but the Knicks are not good and DSJ have a personal grudge against them. Expect him to bounce back and be back over 30 fantasy points. Diagnosis: Like the matchup, like the grudge factor even more.

Derrick Rose (at GS – $6,000): Needs 25.1 fantasy points. I’ve been on the Derrick Rose DFS train all season and he’s rarely let me down. His salary has jumped, but he’s been regularly producing over 25 fantasy points a game. The Warriors are a tough matchup, but the Jazz were supposed to be a tough matchup. The return of Jimmy Butler will cut into his usage, but if Jeff Teague doesn’t play, Rose will get plenty of shots. Diagnosis: The salary still doesn’t scare me, not with the way he’s playing.

Spencer Dinwiddie (vs HOU – $5,600): Needs 23.4 fantasy points. Dinwiddie has been inconsistent this season, but he’s coming off a 33.8 fantasy point effort against the Pistons and playing with a lot of confidence. The Rockets defense remains a mess and I’m willing to pound this matchup until they prove they have some type of answer. Diagnosis: Great matchup for a guy with a good salary and a high ceiling.
