Start Brandin Cooks

Cooks went through all of October without a 100-yard game, or more than four catches in a game. A concussion shortened his day in Week 5 and while it’s faint praise, he has topped 50 yards in each of the last three contests.

Cooper Kupp (knee) is on track to return against the New Orleans Saints this week, but there should be plenty to go around for the Rams’ wide receivers in a favorable matchup.

The Saints have allowed the most fantasy points to wide receivers (ESPN PPR scoring), including the most yards, tied for the most touchdowns (13) and tied for the fourth-most receptions to the position (115).

Cooks may get a lot of top Saints’ cornerback Marshon Lattimore on Sunday, but there’s also a bit of a revenge game angle for him that could be fun to play into.

Rams-Saints is in line to be high-scoring indoors down in New Orleans, with some level of a “start ’em” given to virtually all notable players involved.

Cooks is in the WR1 mix for 12 and 14-team leagues, particularly on a six-team bye week, and I’m willing to declare he’ll be the highest-scoring fantasy wide receiver in that game.
