Aldridge
SAN ANTONIO, TX – MARCH 21: LaMarcus Aldridge /

High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

LaMarcus Aldridge (vs NO – $8,100): Needs 34.8 fantasy points. Aldridge was down against the Suns because they are the Suns and the Spurs ended them early. But he wasn’t lighting it up prior to that and he wasn’t good against Davis and the Pelicans last season. If Davis plays, I don’t like Aldridge one bit. In fact, grab Davis and find value players elsewhere. But if Davis doesn’t play, I’ll trust Aldridge at this salary. Diagnosis: Depends on the status of Davis. Don’t make a decision on Aldridge until you know whether or not Davis plays.

Wendell Carter Jr (vs HOU – $7,400): Needs 31.8 fantasy points. Carter Jr continued his hot stretch with 34.6 fantasy points against the Pacers on Friday. I still don’t have much faith in a rookie being consistent, but this is a good matchup and the Jabari Parker is giving you very little right now. The Bulls need frontcourt help and Carter Jr has been delivering. Diagnosis: Good matchup and set of circumstances for him to deliver.

Paul Millsap (at UTA – $6,900): Needs 29.7 fantasy points. Millsap has been inconsistent this season and I don’t exactly trust him against the Jazz, who can turn the game into a slog. Utah are on a back-to-back, which could be a good news for the Nuggets. But Millsap’s inconsistency simply worries me too much. Diagnosis: I like him more than Ingram, but don’t exactly like him overall.
