6. Wide receiver: Emmanuel Sanders vs. Houston Texans

Boy, oh boy, we have a juicy Week 9 with this matchup. Emmanuel Sanders with Demaryius Thomas was outstanding. We are so excited to see his production and volume grow even more in his departure. Sanders is an all-around great football player. He can run the ball, throw touchdown passes and, of course, catch them as well. The football world is ready to see how this game will play out. We are just as excited.

This season, Sanders has caught 50 balls for 660 receiving yards and three touchdowns, while adding a rushing touchdown and a passing touchdown. He is a jack of all trades when on the field. Which makes him that much more dangerous and reliable in this offense. His high-volume share and utilization makes him a must-have player. Against a Houston defense that can be exploited, look for Denver to use Sanders all over the field.

The Houston Texans have come along nicely since star quarterback Deshaun Watson returned from his 2017 season ending injury. The Texans defense boasts some of the biggest defensive stars in the NFL. Coming into Week 9 allowing 334 total yards per game to opposing offenses, along with 239 passing yards per game. Through the air is where this defense can be exploited. Sanders will do just that with such a high target share of the offense.

Now more than ever Sanders will be the go to guy opposite Courtland Sutton. This season, Sanders is averaging 82 receiving yards on six receptions per game. Those numbers will only go up now that Thomas has been traded to the Texans. Look for quarterback Case Keenum to be looking his way more than ever as Keenum has leaned on Sanders as a safety valve more than anyone else on the offensive side of the ball.

Prediction: 7 receptions, 100 receiving yards, 1 touchdown
