High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Joel Embiid (at BKN – $11,300): Needs 50.4 fantasy points. Embiid is dominating right now. And as much as I love Jarrett Allen as a player, I don’t love him against the most versatile center in the league. Embiid should put up big scoring and rebounding numbers because that’s what he does. He’s also good for a couple of assists and a handful of defensive plays. Diagnosis: You can build around Embiid with confidence. And with the weak options at power forward, there are easy ways to fit Embiid into your lineup.

Willie Cauley-Stein (at MIL – $7,400): Needs 33 fantasy points. Cauley-Stein’s numbers were down against the Hawks as he finished with just 26.2 fantasy points in just 25 minutes. His minutes should be up against the Bucks and I expect him to get back on track as his size and rim protection will be needed against the Bucks offense. Diagnosis: It’s tough to go against the Kings right now and there’s a lot to love about this matchup.

Enes Kanter (at WAS – $6,700): Needs 29.9 fantasy points. Kanter is out of the starting lineup and his minutes are now all over the place. When he plays, he’s still effective. I just don’t know how much he’s going to be playing in this game. The Wizards are ripe to be taken advantage of with their pedestrian offense and no defense. Diagnosis: A risk at this salary, but a high reward.
