High Salary PG

Players costing over $6,667

Ben Simmons (at BKN – $9,500): Needs 39.8 fantasy points. Simmons has been outperformed by Embiid in recent games, which has me worried about his value heading into Sunday. When he’s at his best, he’s going to deliver close to 50 fantasy points. But it’s been a few games since we’ve seen that guy. His lower salary helps and the matchup is a good one. Diagnosis: High ceiling, we just haven’t seen it for a few games. Still, Simmons has one of the highest ceilings of any player in the league with his triple-double and defensive ability.

De’Aaron Fox (at MIL – $8,500): Needs 35.6 fantasy points. I keep waiting for the Kings to fall off, but it’s not happening. Fox had 65.5 fantasy points against the Hawks on Nov. 1. The Bucks will present a tougher matchup, but I’m not doubting the Kings or Fox with they are playing right now. Diagnosis: This should be a shootout and I trust Fox to deliver.

Eric Bledsoe (vs SAC – $7,700): Needs 32.2 fantasy points. Bledsoe has been solid in recent games, but nothing special. I still like him more than John Wall (what are the Wizards even doing?) and D’Angelo Russell, who has been rough this year. Bledsoe remains a good third option and in a game that should feature plenty of points, Bledsoe will have an impact. Diagnosis: Has a high ceiling, but needs to re-find his scoring touch. The assists are there, which is good.
