High Salary PF

Players costing over $6,667

Noah Vonleh (at WAS – $5,600): Needs 23.9 fantasy points. What a terrible slate for power forward. No one is over the salary mark and the closest option is $1,000 less. It’s hard out here for a power forward. Vonleh finally fell off against the Mavericks, playing just 10 minutes and finishing with 6.6 fantasy points. I’d lke to say he’ll bounce back against the Wizards. But I have pause after the 10 minutes he played on Nov. 2 and the emergence of Robinson. Diagnosis: Typically reliable, but maybe has fallen out of favor?

Ersan Ilyasova (vs SAC – $5,500): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Ilyasova has been inconsistent this season, but he can get points and chip in with rebounds. In what should be an offensive showdown, I do believe Ilyasova will chip in with a good number of points. But the salary is kind of iffy for me. Diagnosis: Inconsistent option with a high ceiling.

Marvin Bagley III (at MIL – $5,500): Needs 23.5 fantasy points. Bagley III is one of those guys who I find more reliable than Ilyasova. His minutes are more guaranteed and his scoring comes a bit easier. Plus, he chips in defensively. On a weak day at power forward, Bagley III is the guy I trust the most. And he’s a rookie, which should tell you my overall level of trust in him. Diagnosis: I don’t trust rookies.
