High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (at SA – $9,000): Needs 40.2 fantasy points. Here is the reliable option on the Magic that I was talking about. Vucevic has been solid this season and has a high ceiling. With the Spurs on a back-to-back, Vucevic has the ability to burn them in the paint and on the glass with his ability. Diagnosis: Love the way he’s playing and is the only guy on Orlando I have no doubts about.

Marc Gasol (at PHO – $8,300): Needs 37.1 fantasy points. Gasol had 40.1 fantasy points against the Suns on Oct. 27. Since then he’s had games of 49 and 51.5 fantasy points. The only concern is if this one turns ugly. But as long as he plays, Gasol should put up points and rebounds while chipping in with defense. Diagnosis: Playing great, great matchup, and I love his bromance with Mike Conley even if that’s not DFS related.

Deandre Ayton (vs MEM – $8,000): Needs 35.7 fantasy points. The Grizzlies are a tough matchup, but Ayton did have 44.1 fantasy points against them on Oct. 27. He’s had some clunkers, but he’s also shown a lot of potential as a scorer and rebounder. With Tyson Chandler no longer there, I suspect Ayton will get even more minutes. Diagnosis: High ceiling rookie who will get plenty of scoring and rebounding chances.
