FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 4, 2018 (Main)
High Salary PG
Players costing over $6,667
Damian Lillard (vs MIN – $9,700): Needs 40.6 fantasy points. Lillard had 49.8 fantasy points against the Lakers on Saturday. After a couple of cold nights from the field, he looked more like himself against a favorable defense. I fully expect him to keep it going against the Timberwolves, who haven’t played good defense in years. And if the Timberwolves are shorthanded, their bench will be reduced to one player, meaning Thibs will play the starters roughly 45 minutes. Diagnosis: He’ll get his points. Expect his assist numbers to climb back up.
Kyle Lowry (at LAL – $8,900): Needs 37.2 fantasy points. With or without Kawhi Leonard, Lowry should be able to carve up the Lakers defense. Not only has the Lakers defense struggled this season, but they are on a back-to-back. Furthermore, the Raptors have one of the best offenses in the league thanks to Lowry’s ability to run the show. Diagnosis: He’ll hit value at worst with Leonard in the lineup. He’ll be nicely over is Kawhi is out.
Mike Conley (at PHO – $7,800): Needs 32.6 fantasy points. Conley is looking healthier with each passing game and is coming off a 44.5 fantasy point performance against the Jazz on Nov. 2. Conley should have no problem picking apart the weak Suns defense. He’ll get his points and assists while chipping in with a few rebounds and defensive plays. Diagnosis: Love the matchup and the way he’s playing. Could give you similar value to Lowry at a lower cost, but ceiling isn’t quite as high.
