FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy basketball lineup – November 4, 2018 (Main)
High Value SF
Players costing $6,667 or under
Evan Turner (vs MIN – $5,200): Needs 21.6 fantasy points. The typically reliable Turner was down to 16.1 fantasy points against the Lakers on Saturday. It’s a weak group at small forward, so I’m still high on Turner largely due to his playing time. He can do a bit of everything when he’s on his game and he does have a good matchup despite the back-to-back. Diagnosis: Benefits from a weak night. Has been reliable and hopefully Saturday was just an off-night.
Trevor Ariza (vs MEM – $5,000): Needs 20.8 fantasy points. Ariza has played well in the last two games and should continue to get minutes due to the injury status of TJ Warren. Ariza can be inconsistent, but he does a bit of everything and you never have to question his effort. The Girzzlies will make it tough, but he’s at a decent salary given his ability and role. Diagnosis: Inconsistent option who is playing well and does a bit of everything on a team that needs something.
Kyle Anderson (at PHO – $4,500): Needs 18.7 fantasy points. Anderson hasn’t been great this season, but I can’t help but look at this match and not think that he won’t put up some solid numbers. He’s not much of a scorer, but he rebounds well, can chip in with assists, and make plays on defense. I think he’ll step up defensively and be at value. Diagnosis: Low cost with a great matchup and underrated abilities to contribute.
