High Salary C

Players costing over $6,667

Nikola Vucevic (vs CLE – $9,000): Needs 39.7 fantasy points. Vucevic had 33.1 fantasy points against the Spurs on Sunday. The rest of the Magic players stepped up, but Vucevic has been the most reliable player on Orlando this season. And given the matchup, I fully expect him to return to form. He’ll get his points and rebounds while doing a little something in other categories to boost his final value. Diagnosis: Typically reliable with a high ceiling and a great matchup.

Clint Capela (at IND – $8,200): Needs 26.1 fantasy points. Capela averaged 43 fantasy points in two games against the Pacers last season. He’s been mostly reliable this season and has a high ceiling if he’s able to come up with multiple defensive plays. The rebounds are going to be there no matter what, which is a good sign. Diagnosis: He’ll hit value at worst, but I like the matchup and expect him to be nicely over.

Enes Kanter (vs CHI – $6,700): Needs 29.5 fantasy points. Kanter had 31.4 fantasy points against the Wizards on Sunday. His minutes have gone down, which is an issue, but he’s going to put up rebounding and scoring numbers for as long as he’s in the game. And with the Bulls lack of frontcourt options, I expect Kanter to post solid scoring and rebounding numbers, even in limited minutes. Diagnosis: Good matchup and high ceiling, but minutes are a concern.
